Peter practices in the areas of taxation (with emphasis on the GST and capital gains tax), tax effective Estate planning and wills, business structuring, reorganisations and reconstructions, complex negotiations and dispute resolution, shareholder arrangements and joint ventures. Peter has a Master’s degree in taxation conferred by the University of New South Wales and is a Chartered taxation advisor, an internationally recognised taxation qualification and is a member of the Taxation Institute of Australia. Peter is a consultant lawyer to a number of other legal and accountancy practices. Peter was a member of the Law Society of New South Wales GST technical sub committee which was brought into existence to assist lawyers to understand GST in their practices.

Peter is a regular presenter of seminars to other lawyers in areas such as taxation, advising small business and business structures and joint ventures.

Peter has a specific interest in assisting the charitable and not for profit industry sectors in relation to the establishment, operation and taxation status of charitable trusts and institutions.

Peter is also engaged quite often to be brought into complex negotiations as a professional negotiator, having had many years experience in negotiations and dispute resolution. Peter can work on a fixed fee or value basis, hourly rate, general retainer or project fee basis at your choice.

  • Diploma in Law, Solicitors Admission Board
  • Masters in Tax, University of New South Wales
  • Chartered taxation advisor and member holding that status with the Taxation Institute
  • Admitted as a solicitor in 1981
  • Also admitted in the Supreme Court of Victoria
  • Mediator and negotiator
